this is so funny.. i only watch Full House 2 days ago when it was out since years ago.. aniwae i finished all 16 episodes in just 2 days making me so tired now! but it is really a v nice drama! i enjoyed it so much.. no tears! cos i was watching 1 litre of tears, and as the title suggests, i really teared a lot! many thots came to my mind after watching these 2 shows though..

1 Litre of Tears: as it is based on a true case, it really touched my heart. Aya's diary, words, courage and attidtude made me realised how wonderful my life is. at least i can walk and jump around during joyous moments, love the person i love and most importantly i dun have live in fear that i will wake up unable to walk, talk, write or eat. she also reminded me that not everything has a 100% garantee. therefore i must live everyday without regret, enjoy the slightest thing that i do.

Full House: drew me back to a fairyland, making me wonder how good if i were the gal.. but later on i do realise i'm the gal in my show too! seeing from a viewer point of view, my life is the show i'm in. i'm the lead in my show. so i've to make so i will do well in this show and make sure there will be a good and happy ending to it too! AJA!!

yes! i went to the High Court today!! it was indeed a wonderful experience! i really gotta thank JC for signing up for me!

the case that will be trialed on that day will be up on the notice board so u can go to any one that interest u =)

we went to court no. 18.. it was a case of "Using a firearm with intent to resist arrest" aniwaes the defendent's lawyer is really damn charming!! during the trial i just cant take my eyes off him hee..

so me and JC were v hungry after watching the trial for like 1hr 15min, which has not ended yet when we left haha, the Lady called for a break, we went Macs for our brunch and saw this banner along the way. if u cant see, the banner actually reads "Singapore: Drop the Unfair Cases against Falun Gong!" Hmm...

first, me and JC saw this bunch of CLOWNS outside the Main Library.

next, i went Causeway Bay to dye and trim my hair..which the colour didnt really turn out well, but i do like the hair cut! aniwaes the salon is v nice! they provide very personal services and there is a small tv screen for every 2 seats! u can watch the shows they play while waiting for u hair to be done! so cool right!

Lastly, i went back to sch for this jazz evening at global lounge with ah rain, justin and andrea! (actually it's because i wanna eat dinner with them haha) she has this camera that's is so damn cute, and really looked like a toy, such that i must take a pic with that camera! haha..

This day, i went for the real korean Rain's movie @ 观塘 with SJ, Vera and her fren. i find the show so boring that i fell asleep. it's for real i fell asleep! haha. aniwae there is this v big shopping mall there called AMP, which literally means open both during am and pm, 24 hrs! apart from this shopping mall, 观塘 is sort of a residential area, mostly houses and nothing special.

but right now the radio has got so many songs i dun wanna slp yet! the deejay is playing chinese and canto oldies, from 城城 to Sammi to 张学友. tell me how not to stay tuned.. argh! i regretted not bringing my hp earpiece!

since i started going gym 2 weeks ago, i've been turning in earlier than before.. to go to hku gym is not easy. 1st u have to be an experienced gym user (which i am) or u need to attend a course (which i also need to since i dun have a gym card to show them). after that, i need to register the course online, which is damn difficult to get a place because kiasuism is not only present in sg and it's only opening 10 vacancy per session. Earlier i've been wanting to gym so much but couldnt. now i finally feel much better! esp with all the food here and not having to eat much fruits here (a bit difficult to store fruits and i dun like eating the same kind for a few days in a roll)

aniwae, 大家 (or rather i'm reminding myself hee) i'll try to blog more ok cos sad to say my days in hk 已经所剩无几了..

So on the 2nd day morning, we went to 合记 restaurant, as recommended by the 司机大哥, for brunch! it's so yummy! RMB100 for so much that we cant finish!

After that we headed for 七浦... it's a whole lot of wholesaling shopping malls and pickpockets!

After dinner, we decided to stop by Daphne's place.. it is indeed a cosy place! we found damn lots of yummy snacks and good stuff again!! which led us to head down 南京路 the next day!

hey guys, sorry for the long wait hee.. i'm finally blogging abt my Shanghai trip le! haha and pls bare with me cos other than beautiful structures it’s gonna be fOOD again!=)

at the airport.. and we gotta board the plane like any President! hehe.. Btw can anyone spot Justin? haha!

our hotel: Kaibo Express Hotel.. aniwae the acengy really cheated our money lor! It’s not like what he claimed near the 市中心 at all!

The vending machine at the lobby sells basically anything that u’ll need on a trip. We bought our map from this!

me and ah rain basically slept throughout the whole journey to Shanghai.. and now even on their bus! hee..

and here we are @ 豫园 a.k.a 辰皇庙.

We had lunch at this restaurant.. do take a closer look at the menu! Isnt it cheap ?!!

Definitely a sumptuous, delicious and satisfying meal! (sorry to those who are already drooling!)

..and we didn’t have enough of 小笼包! there’s a Q just down the restaurant that we went to.. reason being: 16 for RMB10! Isn’t that dirt cheap?! and the best thing is it’s delicious!

“Journey to meet Daphne”

All wet :( ! probably cant really tell from the pic. aniwae we were waiting for a ferry ride to “过海”, like in HK haha, to the Pudong, which is at other bank of the Huangpu River, to meet Ah Rain’s beloved friend, Daphne, who has also become our beloved friend during the trip!

She’s supposed to meet us at the sushi place called “Ben Sushi”, which is so ulu!!! and she’s late. We were all drenched and hungry! :(

..due to "strong wing" according to the staff there.. as it was drizzling in the morning. (12th March) haiz but nvm we decided to go for tim sum at Central first!!! Yummy!!

me, rain and an zai xu were early so we went to walk around first (actually the rest were sort of lost when they are supposed to bring us to the yum cha place hehe)

saw H&M.. their 1st outlet in ASIA!!!

see the Q? it's not even 10am! and it's not even open! gosh!

Finally at yum cha! it's a restaurant flooded with senior citizens!
and we had a hard time ordering food! Justin even has to enter the kitchen to order directly from the chef, a.k.a 师傅!

and JC is so happy with his 凤爪 hee..

yeh! it's the toilet! i have to say that the toilet so cool that we cant stop taking photos even in the cubicles! the cubicles are so personalised with everything u will need!

wah lau if only the day can without this! after a fruitful afternoon with JC in Central, we went to Shang Huan (上环) to collect wanting to collect our student's octopus card only to find that we went to the wrong station.. nevertheless we carried on walking to look for a dinner place.. we saw this indoor Cha Cang Ting and went in.. ordered wanton mee together with another dish each.. after eating like around 5 bites, i saw this disgusting thingy on my beef! nvm.. i took out and continued thinking that i still have so much left.. so i carried on eating.. then another one!!! OMG!!! it's really damn disgusting man! i didnt wanna make a scene or what so in the end we just faster finish and go. this pic is taken for evident purpose haha in case anything happen to me!

i'm act doing my research in the HKU library now and was shock to see that the temperature outside now is 11-12 degree C!!!! oh my... i like this weather though haha!!! aniwae i'll update on my CNY break soon (probably by next week) haha cos there's a lot to update and i still need to get some nice pics from justin! do check out his/JC's blog if u cant wait! let me just brief abt my CNY week program haha... we had reunion dinner at my hall on the eve, on the 1st day we slack a bit and went to watch a parade (macham Chingay) at Tsim Sha Tsui, 2nd went for fireworks at the Peak, 3rd day to Lantau Island, 4th day to Hong Kong World Carnival, 5th day we had LO HEI!! at starr hall and had games haha, 6th went Macau, and the last 2 days were games! haha fully packed right! next week will be having term break le! haha holiz again... this time round i'll be going Shanghai for 4D3N with ah rain, jia foo, justin, SJ and her fren.. the rest (gerald, elaine, JC, jocelyn, euquin and her buddy katie) will be going to Taiwan!! hOw Fun!!! gtg get my books le! bye!!!

we've got K-Box and they've got Green Box and Red Box!! it's really not expensive like sg! We went last Saturday during their Happy Hour, which is like 2-8pm and it cost each of us ~S$13 only with 2 drinks each! Really cheap rite! and I have to say their fruit punch is really nice man!

We asked for a 8-person room and they gave us a really spacious room with 3 mics!!! Then with this thingy u see in Gerald’s hand for wrapping of the mic for hygiene purpose! cool right!

there u go... the "wrapped" mics looked like ice-cream haha!

oh forgotten to mention gerald's buddy, Wilson, the one in red jacket standin up.. He’s really funny..got that blurr look.. and I always cant hear his voice whenever he sings! He’s macham like mouthing the lyrics only! Haha.. and he always order songs and dunno that it’s his songs!!!

Hike to The Peak!!!

Yes! We hiked to the Peak aka 山顶 from our school! it was really fun and of course tideous to walk the slope and steps!

I didnt get to see the night view cos i was too busy entertaining all the celebraties at the peak le haiz...my the time i go up to the viewing gallery again it was too misty le... but nvm la that gimme a chance to go up with dear dear!!! hehe.. dear dear u must go up har!

after a tired day (hike cum entertaining the stars la!), we went to their "foodcourt" for dinner.. this is a steamboat set lor which is v cheap only!!! (cant rem the exact price le haha) best of all it's not any close to those in Marina South!!! the soup base was delicious too! And it's really worth the price man cos i shared with Elaine and SJ. Even JC shared with Gerald!

Kowloon Penisular & New Territories Tour

can u see the dark figure standing in the middle (a bit dark har paiseh haha).. she’s Aunt Rebecca, the tour guide for this bus.. if u can see that the bus has got 2 and 3 sits on the sides. The aisle is really squeezing man! Aniwae, Rebecca can talk NON STOP on the bus during all the trips to the next destination!

This is Wetland Park somewhere in the New Territories… Its really boring.. It’s something like our Sungei Buloh but all man-made (doesn’t it sounds like sg style haha) aniwae the “star” of this park is a crocodile called 贝贝, honoured the title “ HONG KONG CELEBRITY” and he just hide himself when we were there!!!

The famous 黄大仙 Temple.. was really smoky and super crowded!!!

Me and SJ’s 1st combined force! 1st attempt at fried been hoon! I rem we were so excited and I even called my mum to ask her how can I cut the broccoli haha!! Looks good right! Thanks to our F&N skills too! haha.. act SJ accidentally spilt too much rosemary inside haha and she ask me to shut up when I kept nagging haha.. SJ sorry to nag a bit haha but on the whole it’s really v tasty!!

...and our first attempt at green bean soup and it turned out to be great!! 有妈妈的味道 ok!! haha!

This is one of the lastest “home cooked” meals haha.. it was a few days before the CNY. A combined forces by Nian Long, JC and me at Nian Long’s hall haha! I cooked the rice noodles and Nian Long act fried some chicken fillets that he had marinated and luncheon meat and JC did the dishes!! =)

V-Day Surprise!!!

I almost forgotten that me and SJ act bought Kinder Surprise for the guys on VDAE!!! namely JC, JF, Ah Rain and An Zai Xu haha.. This is my surprise.. so not cute! =(

I really have to thank dear dear for the surprise man! Haha.. and of course JC and SJ!! This is how the story goes: on 7th feb, a Wednesday, I was supposed to go down to Jordan, which is near Mongkok to collect Singapore Milo (the 3in1 milo here sux) from my cousin. So I was telling JC that I was lazy to go out and whether I should do it on the next day. After much talking, JC agreed to go down with me on Thursday after our lesson, but provided that we can reach my hall by 2.30pm cos he wanna visit SJ’s room and her roomie, Katherine, will be back at around 2.30pm and so it’s not v good to visit her when Kat is back la. So on Thursday, we went down to Jordan, take my Milo and had a v nice Tim Sum lunch there and got back to my hall before 2.30pm. we hanged around at SJ’s pantry till 5 plus before someone called JC. He pushed phone to SJ and insisted that she talk to the person. I was like huh? what’s happening? The funniest thing is that I didn’t even realize that Kat isn’t back yet. So after hanging up, SJ asked me to go down to the reception with JC. I asked her “go down for what?” and she just said “just go down then u’ll noe le.” so I went down with JC and I didn’t noe who to look for until I saw this man holding a bag of flowers haha.

This can only be found in Hong Kong Island (香港岛)...

...it is call “Deng Deng” in Cantonese.. which refers to the sound made by the tram when it moves. It’s really interesting cos u have to board from the back and alight from the front exit where the driver is. u pay only when u alight and it’s really cheap! Cost around hkd 2, which is sgd 40 cents!

The very famous 许留山… Famous for their Mango desserts!! And I love their 小丸子, which is act glutinous rice ball and is super chewy!!! I love it man! Can anyone tell me how to resist such nice desserts?? Haha.. it’s like u’ll wanna some desserts everytime after dinner.. there are so many desserts stalls around. And the egg tarts here are all very nice too!!!

Orientation Day

This act happened more than a month ago le haha.. Aniwae it was really fun cos it’s when we (NUS) met the SMU clique! Each country’s students are given a big drawing board like this to draw and to introduce our country to the rest of the students. So we drew: Small island surrounded by sea, a fine city very near our dearest neighbour, with our beloved PAP and Merlion, big sun throughout the year. The presenting is then left to the SMUs, supposedly good at presenting! Haha. So when they mentioned that it’s v cold here in HK, there was this ang mo commented that “oh it’s supposed to be a hot vacation for us!” We were like what the hell!!

High Table Dinner on my 2nd day!!!

High Table Dinner is a tradition of HKU. to me it's just a time to 吃好料 haha cos I'm really fortunate to make it just in time for this one, they said it's the most grand one of the year for my hall. It was held in Main Building, an old colonial building that has a clock tower. All the guys are in suits and gals all dressed up. I didnt have a dress to wear lor.. Luckily my floormates lend me their extra piece of dress and heels!!!

We took an airport express train to Hong Kong Island. The gal in the middle is JC's buddy, Jessica, and also my and Si Jie's share buddy haha!
